July 11-13th (Rain date July 14th)
Wing Outlaw class only for the weekend 

Schedule:                                        

     Thursday July 11th: Open practice from 6-9pm

          $10 pit passes

          FREE grandstands admission

     Friday July 12th: Preliminary Night

          $500 to win, $30 to start feature

     Saturday July 13th: Feature Night

          $5,000 to win, $250 to start feature

Fees:

     $100:  Pre-entry fee for the weekend by June 1, 2013

                (driver pit pass not included)

     $125:  Entry fee for the weekend after June 1, 2013

                (driver pit pass not included) 

     $30:  Pit Passes each day Friday and Saturday

     $50:  Reserved Parking for the weekend

              (limited to the first 20 parking forms & fee received - choice of pit parking)

Friday Format:

     10 lap heat races based off of a pill draw

     Passing points will be given in the heat races to line up 20 lap qualifiers

     Top 24 cars will start the feature Friday night

     TOP 6 in the 30 lap feature will be LOCKED IN to Saturday night’s A-Main.  

          (These 6 cars will run a special dash on Saturday night.) 

Saturday Format:

     10 lap heat races based off of a pill draw

     Passing points will be given in the heat races to line up 20 lap qualifiers

     Top "so many" out of each qualifier will fill spots 7-18 for the feature

     15 lap Last Chance Showdown (LCS) will be ran with the first 18 cars not in the

          feature

     Top 6 in the LCS will fill out the 24 car field

     Top 6 from Friday night will run a dash determining the starting order for the

          front 3 rows

     Winner of the dash will have LANE CHOICE in the feature

     40 lap Monster Energy Highbanks Hustle feature event

Terry Sprague Memorial

NON WING GUYS HERE YOU GO!!!!! Southern Illinois Raceway is proud to announce the 2013 edition of the Terry Sprague Memorial on August 24, 2013 supporting the Lighthouse Shelter. This race night will boast a $2,500 to win, $125 to start the feature payout for the non wing class! Other classes running that night include: Jr. Sprint, Restrictor, Dwarf, and Hornet. This will be a non points night for the non wing class.

The entry fee will be $75 (pit pass included) for drivers. Pit passes for the night will be $30. All other classes will have normal entry fees and payouts.

The format for the non wing class will be as follows: Drivers will pill draw for 10 lap heats races. Passing points will be given for the heat races. The top 6 in passing points will go to a dash (details to be announced later). The remaining cars will line up in 20 lap qualifiers. The top "so many" out of each qualifier will fill out the 24 car starting field for the 40 lap Non Wing Feature!!!!

 SIR Twin 25's

HORNET DRIVERS GET READY TO HIT THE HIGHBANKS FOR $1,000!!!  The “SIR Twin 25’s” hornet race will take place July 20th! It will feature a $1,000 to win, $50 to start payout ($3,300 purse). Other classes running this night include: Dwarf, Jr. Sprint, Restricted Micro, Non Wing Outlaw Micro. This will also be a special night because all micro divisions will be running non-wing including Jr. Sprints and Restrictors. These addition classes will be running for normal entry fees, payouts, and formats. This is a non-points night all divisions.

The “SIR Twin 25s” Hornet race format will be as follows: Drivers will pill draw for their starting position in 10 lap heat races. Passing points will be given to drivers in their heats races with the top 6 in points overall going to the dash. Everyone else will be placed in qualifiers based on passing points. The top “so many” in those qualifiers will fill positions 7-16 in the feature. The top point earner will come on the front stretch during intermission and draw for the dash invert. Then the top 6 cars will run their dash with the finishing order being the starting line-up for the front 3 rows. The winner of the dash will have LANE choice in the feature! Then the 16 cars will come out and run the first 25 lap segment of the feature. Once the checkered flag falls, cars will exit the track and have a 10 minute intermission in the pits to refuel their cars etc. The cars will then re-enter the track and run the final 25 laps with the winner taking home $1,000 cash!
